I'm Kerry Guard, co-founder of MKG Media Group which is a San Francisco Bay Area media agency that delivers measurable results through digital media.

Philadelphia, New York, Seattle, San Jose. Not only having moved city to city I, Kerry Guard, made my way agency to agency. I started in traditional media at Universal McCann on the Verizon and Bacardi accounts, then transfered from Midtown to the West Village for Publicis Modem?s newly acquired General Mills account. Here, I dove into the digital media world full fledged and haven?t looked back.

After meeting my husband in Hawaii, I packed my 5?x7? East Village bedroom and moved to Seattle. Here I worked on the Microsoft account at MEC in an office above the best coffee shop ever, Vivace. If you?re in Seattle go there right now! At MEC I learned how to read and understand data in order to improve performance of a campaign.

I spent the first half of 2011 at WDCW in Seattle where I met my counterpart Mike Krass. After realizing how well we work together we've decided to start our own agency. We've taken everything we've learned across the multiple agencies we've worked at and honed in on all the good aspects in an effort to be more efficient and drive better results for our clients.

Now in San Jose, I am looking forward to really good food, 9 months of sunshine, and working with a great partner at a great agency.
